During the meeting, R.Y. Zavarin and E.L. Kudryavtseva noted the successful implementation of urban improvement programs operating in the Vologda region: positive changes in the public spaces of the regional capital, the completion of the reconstruction of embankments and park areas, as well as an integrated approach to the renovation of courtyards.
The participants discussed the implementation of the National Program and a set of measures aimed at training qualified personnel and securing young professionals in the Vologda region. Special attention was paid to the issues of professional self-determination of adolescents. As it was noted, early career guidance projects are being successfully implemented in the region, the federal project "Professionalism" and targeted training programs in higher education institutions are in operation. All this makes it possible to build an effective personnel training system, taking into account the needs of the regional economy.
A separate topic of discussion was the development of youth infrastructure. The meeting participants noted that youth centers are being opened annually in the municipalities of the region, and the Technokadry secondary vocational education campus is under construction. These projects are aimed at creating comfortable conditions for the self-realization of the younger generation and increasing the attractiveness of the region for life and work.
Director of the VolSC RAS, A.A. Shabunova, emphasized that today the VolSC RAS is an important link in the continuing education system of the Vologda Region, ensuring the integration of academic science into the educational process and contributing to the formation of scientifically sound approaches to managing regional development.
Following the meeting, the need to further strengthen cooperation between the scientific community and legislative authorities in matters of personnel policy and socio-economic planning was noted.
The cooperation between the VolSC RAS and the Legislative Assembly of the Vologda Region includes several specific areas. These include the examination of the draft regional budget at public hearings, working meetings and speeches at meetings of the Discussion Club at the Youth Parliament, participation in round tables and conferences.
